Unfortunately, I work in a career where there's no such thing as a snow day. My boyfriend (who works in a school) has spent the last few days cooped up indoors avoiding the nastiness that is currently outside, but I on the other hand have to trek my butt to work anyways.
So while I wear leggings under my pants, three pairs of socks, and layers upon layers upon layers looking like the Pillsbury Dough Boy on my way to work, I've started to rethink the glee I felt during that first snowfall.
You'll have to forgive me if you see a few extra folds in this outfit post, I may be exploding with layers.

Thank you so much! That means a lot :)
DeleteGreat photos! Really chic and warm outfit :)
ReplyDeleteThank you!
DeleteYou do NOT look like the Pillsbury Doughboy! I don't know if we've ever established this, but I too, am a Chicago native. I managed to move to Germany just in time to miss out on Chiberia last year, but I keep seeing all over Facebook that schools were shut down all over the place last week because of the cold. Trust me, you look wonderfully chic AND cozy in this outfit! When it gets cold, I always end up rocking my knee-length North Face puffer jacket. It's the ugliest thing in my closet, but boy is it warm!
