Green with Envy

I am envious of people living in warmer climates right now… that's right all you San Franciscans out there, I'm talking to you. I looked out my window Monday morning hopeful after waking to bright rays of sunshine, but the moment I stepped outside I was quickly frozen back to the cold reality that is Chicago these days.

Another week of potentially record-breaking cold temperatures and below-zero wind chills… I'm beginning to think spring may never come. I've started wearing spring clothes in hopes that I might inspire Mother Nature, but I think she just laughs at me as I sniffle and shiver in my winter weather protest. I guess I'll just have to keep dreaming of warmth for now.
