So, it's -15 degrees outside right now in Chicago. It's my day off and I'm not leaving my apartment. I'm spending my day snuggled up in a blanket, wearing a warm sweater and cozy socks, and drinking a delicious cup of hot cocoa (with marshmallows of course).
I can't complain, really.
These cold days remind me of rainy summer days, except when you look out the window it looks like a beautiful day-- the sun is shining and everything is blanketed with a fresh sheet of wonderfully white snow.
It's the part of winter that I love most. Even though you're stuck inside, Mother Nature is making sure you still get to see her beauty and grace.
