Labor Day Bits & Pieces

I don't get to take a day off too often… In fact, up until 10:45 a.m. I thought I was working today. But I was pleasantly surprised when I learned I would have a free day and, well, I took advantage of it in the most relaxing way.

Mother Nature even changed her tune when she learned I would be able to enjoy the day. Less than an hour after I received that wonderful phone call telling me I wouldn't need to work today, the cloudy skies opened up and let the sun shine down and the stormy weather that was supposed to arrive in the city this afternoon steered clear, leaving me with the most pleasant weather.
